Milkwood is located approximately 3 hours from New York City and 1.5 hours from Albany, NY. There is ample parking once you arrive.

If you’re traveling to Milkwood by bus, train, or plane, please send us your itinerary. Below are pick-up and drop-off options.

by bus

Trailways buses from New York City arrive daily in Stamford at 12:45pm, and in Delhi at 4:52pm. With advance notice, we can coordinate complimentary pick-up from and drop-off to these towns.

by train

The nearest train station is the Amtrak station in Albany-Rensselaer, about a 90-minute drive from Milkwood. We do not provide travel to and from the train station. You can either coordinate travel with other guests; rent a car at the train station; or use a ride-sharing service, a taxi, or a car service. If you need help arranging your travel to and from the train station, let us know and we will assist you.

by plane

The nearest airport is Albany International, about a 90-minute drive from Milkwood. We do not provide travel to and from the airport. EARLY ARRIVALS

If you are coming from further afield and arriving a day before your retreat, we suggest you stay at The Mill Pond Inn in Jefferson, NY, which is a 20-minute drive from Milkwood. There are only five rooms in the bed and breakfast and they fill quickly, so we recommend making a reservation early. We can pick you up from The Mill Pond and drive you to Milkwood (free of charge) on the first day of your retreat.
